D’Armand Cook started out in the mid ’80s here in Waimea (Kamuela) with a bicycle sales/service business that quickly became popular in the community. His business has evolved many times over the years, from bicycles to outdoor apparel, surfing and kayaking equipment, outdoor adventures and now to archery, firearms and hunting supplies.

He’s the go-to person for archery, hunting equipment and firearms on this part of the Big Island, and gladly shares his knowledge and enthusiasm for nature, the island and the community. His Mathews/Mission archery sales/service is top-notch, and he takes the time to personally fit each customer with the proper bow, arrows and additional complementary equipment.

D’Armand takes time to teach archery on an occasional volunteer basis as well as on an hourly basis for clients requesting personal assistance.
